Aloha!
It’s been a while since we sent one of these out – if I was of advancing years, it might explain the increasing frequency of my memory lapses – as it is, let’s all just assume that I actually have been sending these out on a regular basis, you must have simply overlooked them.
Please try to do better in future.
Anyhoo – I can only recall our most recent gig, down at O’Neill’s down in town last Friday, which appears to have been very satisfactory for all concerned – apart from me possibly having accidentally driven through a bus gate on the way home. I can’t be sure, it was dark and widdling down with rain, and I was following a bus, which may have obscured my view of any signs.
Ah, well. I’ll find out in the next few days – if I get a letter from those nice folks at Bristol City Council demanding monies, I shall reply by trying and put the blame back on them, for having insufficiently transparent buses*.
Anyway – assuming I can successfully negotiate my way through the next few days, we’ll be back out making a racket again next Saturday…
Saturday 1st Feb – The Old Mill, Portishead
Back in the ‘Head – as I’m sure absolutely nobody calls it – we’re looking forward to a jolly evening doing terrible things to some of your favourite tunes. Again.

*There is a theory that, in dealing with authorities in matters of this sort, if you are suitably irrational, they eventually will realise it’s not worth their time trying to deal with you and just give up. Stage 2 of my plan is to insist that they direct all future correspondence to my solicitor..**
**My appointed solicitor is a hamster.***
***I don’t have a hamster. If anybody knows of one (preferably with formal legal training) please get in touch.
