Wedding at Tewksbury
Just wanted to drop you all an email to say a massive thank you for Saturday. We and all of our guests thought you were brilliant.
We were really appreciative of the support and regular contact in the build up and planning for the big day.
You came across as really professional and a tight unit and so many of our guests at our wedding remarked on how good you were.
Ellie thoroughly enjoyed getting up singing with Emma by the way!

AUF played at my wedding and proved to be hugely popular. Their whole set list is one crowd pleaser after another, they are great musicians and Louisa is a super front woman.

I booked the band for my 40th Birthday celebration and they were brilliant, really managed to capture the mood, involve the birthday boy (which was a great experience) as well as the guests of the party – would highly recommend for any celebration and the music is fabulous!! THANKYOU 🙂

Re: ANGEL UP FRONT
I have known this group for quite a number of years and have seen them grow from strength to strength with following and their music.
The band have played live on a stage (40’ trailer) in the open air to entertain 12,000 motorcyclists for the past 4 years on The Ride of Respect. Their style of music and repertoire is ideally suited to all age groups and genders.
I have recommended the band to various venues and will continue to support them in future years.

I had a night off from playing last Saturday and whilst wondering round the local music pubs I came across AUC, after listening to your opening Pretenders, Anastasia, etc I disappeared to pick up some friends because I knew we were going to hear the best band in town. I happened to see a couple of poor and lonely muso’s of various denominations wandering about like headless chickens, I sectioned them to come down and hear your excellent band!
We all had a great night, all of you accomplished muso’s rose to the challenge once a few people came in, good solid and well balanced back line and some great vocals and FOH movement, the backline was very well balanced, also good drum and bass tones complemented by the Marshal/Peavey (?) arrangement, Alan, ever tried the Diesel amps at Mansons, Exeter, their versatility is fantastic although the 50w is a bit quite for outside events (backline of course).
The range of music was good and varied works well at 99% of pubs and clubs down on the south coast and it was nice to see the band gradually bringing the music to a crescendo by the end of the gig. What a good night!!!!!!
I look forward to hearing you again, keep up the excellent work.

Well, after 11 months and seeing around 20 gigs, I’ve finally got my ass in gear and decided to write a review.
I must agree with Layla & Dean, many of the songs that Angel Up Front are better than the original version. the awesome vocals on “You Oughta Know” is just one example although there are many others in the set that not only match the original but surpass it both the quality of the instrument playing and the delivery of the vocals.
Many of the reviews have highlighted the quality and power of the vocals (and rightly so), but all of the band members give 110% of effort on each and every song every time I have seen them.
The best recommendation I can give about Angel Up Front is that as I mentioned earlier I have seen the band around 20 times and I never tire of seeing a band that has a constantly expanding set list (the U2 cover is superb guys) and constantly improves on its delivery of those great songs. In short stop reading this review click on the gig list, go and see them; and if they aren’t playing at a venue near you ask your venue to book them. I can guarantee that you will walk away at the end of the night with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

Myself and my partner came to see you play yesterday and to be honest we were blown away! The lead singers fantastic vocal talent & stage presence teamed with a superb drummer, Outstanding lead guitarist and brilliant bass guitar made up the best live performance I’ve seen in a long time! I’m a great rock fan and to hear such wonderful covers of such classics was great. I always worry that my favourite songs are going to be killed by a poor cover but In the case of AUF I needn’t of worried! A lot of the songs I preferred by you guys, which really is saying something! You were so good we booked you for our wedding!! I really recommend that everyone that likes the look of the play list should go and see you!! Well I’ll stop harping on about how great you are, I’m starting to sound like some crazed groupie!! Thanks for a great night and see you soon.
